Laser Vein Treatments

Laser vein treatments use targeted laser energy to reduce the appearance of veins on the skin’s surface.

What is it?

When patients present with broken blood vessels, spider veins or acne scars, we can use a number of treatment options, including VBeam Laser. This device was created by Syneron Candela, one of the leaders in laser technology for skin care. VBeam Laser is a great option for spider veins and lesions because the laser pulse can target the oxyhemoglobin in blood vessels, without significantly affecting the surrounding healthy tissues delivering a precise and effective treatment with minimal discomfort and downtime.

What to expect

The VBeam Laser uses a technology called pulsed dye, which sends short bursts of energy into the skin. This energy targets specific structures, causing them to break down and be naturally removed by the body. For example, when treating spider veins, the laser's energy is absorbed by the blood vessels, causing them to collapse. Over time, the body naturally eliminates these collapsed vessels.
